Why we fit Apricus
Apricus is where we start when a household of up to four wants efficient hot water at the sharpest price. It is an all-in-one, so the tank and heat pump come as a single unit and the install is quick. It runs on R290 natural refrigerant, has an electric element that can push water to 70 °C when a household needs it, and it is quiet enough to sit close to a bedroom wall.
It is not the quietest or most efficient system we fit — that is Reclaim. But for a household of up to four it does the job properly for a good deal less money, and it is a registered Clean Energy product so the rebates still apply.
